V-neck Challnege Day #2

I decided to forgo jeans for casual Friday, and I pulled out my denim skirt. I haven't worm this skirt in ages. I forgot how much I love it. Also, I haven't worn this grey suede jacket in a long time. I keep pulling it out and trying it on, but it never looks right. Until today. I really thought it was the right causal balance to this outfit. But I'm still toying with the idea of getting rid of it. I'm thinking that when we run out of room in the coat closet that it will be the first to go.

Rand's Daily Outfit Assessment: Not a word. We met after work for a quick beer at our new neighbood bar, and I think he was more interested in getting inside than checking out my outfit. And honestly, I was too! As usual, he was a good sport and took my pics next to the bar before we went inside.

What I Wore That Had a Lot of Grey Suede:

2010-02-05 combo

  • denim skirt (Target)
  • argyle sweater (Polo)
  • grey striped tights (Lane Bryant)
  • grey necklace and earrings (Rainbow)
  • grey suede boots (Lane Bryant outlet)
  • grey suede jacket (Sonoma via Kohl's)
What I Did That Really Got My Heart Rate Up:

I really did not want to get on the treadmill this morning, and our study/workout room floor is covered in elfa parts (new closet coming Monday!!!) so I couldn't do a workout DVD. Luckily, I have a bunch of In Shape With Sharon Mann episodes Tivoed, so I dragged by step in the living room and did her Step/Strech workout. Sweatiness and racing heartrate ensued. Yay!
