After work, Rand and I rushed off to view another house. Now this wasn't just any house, it was a house in our price range, the size we want, in our old neighborhood. That may not sound like much, but in the last 6 months, it's the first house in our price range in that neighborhood. And I really miss our old neighborhood. Sadly, we found out it already has an option contract on it. In fact, it had one as soon as they put a sign in the front yard. Oh well, maybe another one will come up soon.What I Wore While Getting Excited About My Old Neighborhood:
- white skirt (Avenue)
- black/white blouse (Newport News)
- black knit top (Lane Bryant)
- white belt (hand-me-down, Target)
- black heels (Manolo Blahnik via Goodwill)
- orange necklace & earrings (gift, Revente Resale)
- breakfast: greek yogurt with apples and Fiber One
- lunch: salad w/ 1 oz cheese, Progress Lite Soup, alternative bagel sandwich, orange
- snack: SoyJoy, banana, string cheese
- dinner: faux chicken parmesan, roasted broccoli, whole wheat pasta

Kathryn - shut up! I totally did! LOL. It was the best find ever at a thrift store, I swear. I probably had a greedy gremlin look on my face as I walked around Goodwill with two pairs of Manolos in my hands. My precious!
Sheila - I love Craftsman houses. We currently live in one and they're my fave style right now. re: the skirt - I seem to be getting fatter nto thinner, so maybe you should consign it? I feel like such a loser that you offered me this lovely reward and I can't even get a little ahead. But I'm trying again, so that is good.
