What I Wore After Remembering I Have Freckles:
- white wrap blouse (Lane Bryant) *
- pink tank (Old Navy)
- blue/coral/white skirt (George/Walmart)
- coral leather belt (Faded Glory/Walmart)
- blue/silver earrings (I've had them for ages, so I have no clue)
- pink/blue dodo brooch, worn as a necklace (borrowed from Maria)
- blue buckle heels (Rouge, which I think is from Dots)
- baby blue leatherette purse (thrifted, Goodwill)
* this is one of my shirts that was attacked by the sun. (I converted a room with lots of windows into a closet and origianlly I didn't have my racks in the right places and there was sun damage. On a white shirt that means it turned the sleeve facing the sun yellow. I thought it was ruined, but I used bluing in my load of whites and everything seems to be better. If you look really closely you can still see a faint difference in color, but not unless you really look for it. So I'm happy to report that I can wear this shirt again, which is good b/c I have a really hard time finding blouses that fit, and I'm losing weight so I'd rather wait to buy something until this one doesn't fit anymore.
What I Ate After Working a 12 Hour Day:
I missed dinner at home, so I ended up with jelly beans, graham crackers from Jason's Deli, and string cheese. Mmmm healthy.

Okay maybe I need to go back and get that skirt. I fondled and carried it around Walmart last time I was there but put it back at the last minute - you look terrific!!!
Oh and miss, where is your sunscreen?? I'm wagging my finger at you, just so you know :)
love how you styled your hair and of course your rocking your outfit!
Where did you get your purse? Love the story about the sun - sorry you had to go through that, but at least you had a happy ending:)
Oh my goodness. Love the dodo. I am planning an intervention where-in I steal all of these brooches before you can give them back. lol. They are WONDERFUL.
Cute outfit over all as well!~ Love the shoes.
Love this outfit. Super cute!
Fab shoes!
I kind of forget about my freckles too. Nowadays, I'm never outside without sunscreen and/or a hat!
This outfit reminds me a tiny bit of Michelle O's here - http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/2009/04/stripey-shelley-o.html. Super cute!
Ally - go get the skirt! And then post pics of you wearing it so we can compare our styles! I love seeing different people wearing the same clothes. It's so interesting. And my face lotion has SPF in it, but I promise I'll put real sunscreen on next time!
Anon - thanks for pointing out that I keep forgetting to list my purses. I just got it at Goodwill.
Erin - I'll Maria that "I have no idea what happened to the brooches" and you and I can keep them all to ourselves. Shhh. Don't tell anyone. And thanks, I love the shoes, but the squeak thereby pointing out to everyone how cheap they were.
MissAmy - Wow. Quite a compliment.
Everyone, thanks for the compliments. I felt polished this day, which was great, since I usually feel frumpy in white shirts like this.
Tina,
I love, love, love that purse. It reminds me of the Birkin bag!
Have a wonderful night sweetie!
With Love,
Emily

This outfit is awesome! I want that skirt!
OH MY GOSH, I LOVE THIS NECKLACE! You look great!
Emily - I was trying to remember what it reminded me of! Yes, but it's smaller, I think. I was really happy when I spotted it at Goodwill last week.
Sher & Clare - thanks! I bought a huge ring of antique keys about 15 years ago and every once in a while (okay, it used to be all the time) I would throw one on a chain and wear it. Eventually I've lost almost all of them. I think I'm down to two keys. Darn.
Lmac - go get it! I just bought it this week, so I know they still have them. I will say, it wasn't on sale in the store I went to, but online it's $4 less. Just in case you are interested.
So great! I love so much about this outfit and those shoes are just wonderful! S.
