Today I wore three pieces of jewelry that I borrowed from Maria and one of them might be the Rock It Challenge Piece.First, I wore a bracelet made in India. It appears to be bone (or faux bone) set in bronze. It's hinged and helt closed with a bronze nail. I have no idea about it's age.
Second, I wore a pair of clip on earrings. They are cream balls with brown speckles, with another ball dropped below. I think they are plastic. Again, I have no guess as to age.
Third, I wore a cream multi-strand necklace. Maria and I think this is made out of shell. Maybe from the 80s.
Are any of these the challenge piece from Maria?
What I Rocked While Seeing State of Play:
Rand told me I looked like Mary Tyler Moore this morning. Apparantly it's b/c I am wearing brown and "they wore a lot of brown then." Ha!

- brown flats (Madeline Stewart via Ross)
- aqua purse (via Kohls)
- cream clip in earrings, bone bracelet, and shell necklace (borrowed from Maria)
What I Ate While Ignoring the Cookies 3 Feet Away:
A coworker bought a bunch of cookies and spread them out right next to me. Ack! Luckily I had picked this baby up during my lunch break when I discovered a bunch of new bard that I wanted to try. I didn't have very high hopes, but man this was GOOD! 200 calories of almondy goodness. It reminded me of marzipan. Delish. And it stuck with me pretty well.
I ate Which Wich for dinner prior to seeing a movie with an old college friend. No pic.
Total for the Day: 1650 calories, 7 glasses of water, no exercise

Does Rand dislike brown? My husband can't stand it. He keeps threatening that a tragic accident will befall my brown slacks ;)

Struggler - I read Rand your comment and asked him. His reply "Yeah. Pretty much hate brown. Calling you Mary Tyler Moore wasn't a compliment." Ha! I love that he is honest with me. It makes all the compliments more real, since Iknow they are genuine.
