I greatly admire that you are sticking to your plan, Tina! Remember, the more you exercise, the more you can eat! Keep it up! Congratulations on the loss this week.

Looks like you got back on track! Did you just join a gym? I'm not a huge class person, but I'm happy that I've found a class I really enjoy- step. I'm probably the worst person to be taking a step class as I have no coordination, poor balance, a short attention span, bad hearing, and horrific cardiovascular health, but I like it anyway :)

When I lived in MD I always liked going to a class on Friday nights- it was a great way to end the week for me. Are there any classes at your gym you like? I love to look into the cardio dance classes- the instructors are so into it! they make it look fun, but I can only handle one class a week- less chance of me falling down that way.

That line is coming down! Think how good it's going to feel to break through 220. Great stuff!

BTW, is roasted broccoli easy? Beloved Husband went shopping and seemed to think we needed a year's supply of the green stuff... LOL! Now looking for things to do with it.

Sheila - I like to eat, so anything that helps me do more of that....

Charlotte - thanks!

Jess - I've been a gym member for a long time, but I only go in waves. Right now I am in an "off" wave. Mostly I've been walking for exercise with a little DVD workout thrown in here and there. But it's getting to hot for walking unless I go first thing in the morning. I really like step classes and Zumba (a latin dance class). Sadly the Zumba class is at a really akward time. But I am going to try to go this week.

Struggler - roasted brocolli is super easy. Toss some brocolli with olive oil, salt and pepper (I shake it in a piece of tupperware), dump it on a cookie sheet, and stick it in the oven at 350. It usually takes about 15 minutes. Don't do it with dried out brocolli that been sitting in thr fridge for a long time unless you rehydrate it first. That stuff gets too tough. The more olive oil you use, the better it tastes and the better it roasts, but then it also has more calories. Enjoy!
