Rand wanted to go to Old Monk again this week and I said no, then yes, then no, and then yes. Yes was the wrong answer for a couple of reasons. First, it was hot as hell outside which led to the second reason it was a bad idea. It was too hot to sit outside at the Monk and eat my healthy meal there, so we went home, but we hadn't gone to the grocery store. So we ordered chinese. And what I did I get? The worst thing on the menu. Yep, that's me.
What I Wore While Sweated Dripped From Everywhere:
- peasant blouse (Simply Fashions)
- black skirt (George/Walmart, thrifted new Goodwill)
- purple sweater (Target)
- purple tank (Lane Bryant)
- skinny belt (Nine West)
- buckle pumps (Nicole Miller)
- green bead necklace (Target, thrifted new Goodwill)
- aqua bangle (Lane Bryant)
- silver hoops (?)
What I Ate that Was the Worst Possbile Option:
- breakfast: Western Alternative Bagel, cheesy eggs, cherries
- lunch: Progresso soup, "grilled" cheese, carrots, cucumbers, cantaloupe
- dinner: Blance de Bruxelles, General Tso's chicken, wanton soup, veggie egg roll, fried rice

It may have been the wrong choice, but proportion wise it was a small one. I've seen those places pile on the food. Enough for 3 days of meals.
Just love the colors of your outfit today!
I've also heard that General Tso's is the worst thing on the menu. It's SO good though. As long as you don't eat it regularly, it probably won't kill you.
You *do* look professional! But fun professional.
I am now craving fried rice. And your blue bangle bracelet!
I love your green necklace here!
As far as the chinese food goes, little slip-ups happen, but I think that overall, you're on track.
I am amazed at how many colors and layers you managed to include while still looking wholly polished and professional. You take creativity to new heights!
Love the outfit, chica.
Sher - I think it was probably two days servings. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone.
Kasmira - Sadly, it's my favorite thing on the menu, so it's always a battle when we decide to order chinese.
Jess - oops. Wasn't trying to spread the junk food bug.
Diana - thanks. I'm trying to stay on track. It's been a free-for-all week. But now that I am back from vacation...
Kari - thanks! I finally beat my fear of color a few years ago. Now there's no holding me back.
Maria - Thanks, Girl!
You look fantastic here! Almost a mad men quality with the great hourglass silhouette you have with this.
