What I Ate After Breaking Down and Shopping for Produce:
We've been trying to just eat the food that is left in the house so that we don't have to take food with us when we move. That, combined with the holiday, has been a great excuse to eat crap. I am determined not to "give up until New Years" like I really want to. So I grabbed some fruit on my way to work today. Otherwise I'd be eating chips and garbage at lunch.
Ok so that paragraph right above this - I wrote it in the morning. And then by evening, after moving appliances in the rain, I was cold, tired, and hungry. And the chicken I put out to defrost in the morning still wasn't thawed, so we went out to eat at a restaurant in our new neighborhood. BTW, it was NOT worth it. So any of you readers that live in Dallas, feel free to avoid the Bangkok City Restaurant at Bryan and Peak. Service was horrible, the food took 45 minutes to come out, and then it wasn't even what we ordered. sigh.
- breakfast: homemade McMuffin - 100 cal english muffin (Thomas), turkey sausage (Jimmy Dean), non fat cheese (Kraft), french vanilla tea (Bigelow)
- lunch: chicken sandwhich (Buddig) on whole wheat (Nature's Own), baby carrots, Gala apple
- snack: pumpkin yogurt (Stonyfield), brownie Z Bar (Clif Kid), banana (Chiquita, of course)
- dinner: pad thai, jasmine tea (Bangkok City Restaurant)

Bangkok city is aweful and everyone in my office thinks it's the best hole in the wall. Definitely not worth the calories
Sarah - I like the one on Greenville okay, but the one down on Peak sucks. Poor Rand really wanted to like it too, b/c it's in the new neighborhood and it's a hole-in-the-wall. I don't think he'll have much luck convincing me to go back.
Oh, I hear you on that temptation to let it all go until New Year's. Don't do it! My pattern is to be good all week, then pig out on the weekend (Saturday only). Knowing I have that day to look forward to helps me to control myself.
Yay, still doing the pushups! How are your arms feeling?
Tell me about it!
This time of year is the hardest to do WW. I did ok, but still put on a pound. Why must food=fun?
New to your blog. I look forward to getting caught up!
