Rand's Daily Outfit Assessment: "Seeeexy." This was as I was pulling on my tights. So I just looked at him with my eyebrows raised. Tights are sexy??? "Well I'm imagining that they are thigh highs." HAHAHAHAHAHA. His only other comment was "heels? You aren't supposed to be wearing heels yet. You should be wearing flats." sigh. He's right.
What I Wore That Did Not Protect Me From The Snow:
- purple skirt (Lane Bryant)
- sheer patterend shirt (a.n.a. via Goodwill)
- grey vest (Lane Bryant)
- skinny black patent belt (Target)
- grey tights (Target)
- grey patent heels (Steve Madden via Ross)
- silver-tone and black chain necklace (local charity shop)
- earrings (Target)
- breakfast: venti eggnog latte (Starbucks)
- lunch: leftover pork sandwich, baby carrots, string cheese (Kraft), gala apple
- snack: banana, brownie bar (Clif Z)
- dinner: fish & chips (Old Monk)
Nope, it wasn't the fish & chips that I was surprised that I ate, it was the latte. I got it with skim milk, but I knew it would have regular syrup in it, so I figured it was a middle-of-the-road option. I was wrong. It had 24 grams of fat!! I guess they must add real eggnog not just flavoring. I won't make that mistake again.

tee hee..it's snowing in Houston this morning! I'm watching from my office window this morning.
I should NOT read your blog hungry. The fish and chips looks SOOOOO good!
I am a BIG fan of eggnog & will occasionally make my own version of the eggnog latte so as not to kill my entire meal plan. (One serving of most eggnogs is 9 grams of fat--that's for a 1/2 cup!!)
Green Mountain Coffee makes a surprisingly excellent Eggnog Flavor coffee if you find it anywhere--and no extra fat/calories b/c the flavor is roasted in the bean. Or I get fat free Nog (or my latest Soy Nog) to add to my coffee instead of milk. In fact this was my morning coffee today. Yum.
I love those shoes. Gray patent is so nice.
I had a creme brulee latte today. I do not want to think about how bad for me it was.
BAM - crazy, wasn't it? I love random Texas snow!
Kasmira - I have the same problem when I look at other people's blogs. It makes me hungry or makes me want to shop or whatever it is that I am looking at.
Julia - thanks for the tip! I am going to have to keep an eye out for their coffee!
Lisa - ugh. I had a sample of the creme brulee coffee while they made my eggnog coffee. Those sugar chunks on top are delish. bad bad.
Super late, I know, but only just found your blog (and clearly have been going back in time for more...)
Having worked at a starbucks - eggnog lattes are terrible. Regulation states it should be 3/4 eggnog (might have gone down to 1/2 since I left, though), and 1/4 - 1/2 milk (in your case, skim). Hence the shock. Imagine what was up before Starbucks switched the automatic milk choice from whole to 2% (which is still the standard) a few years ago...
