Goodbye Wednesday

I won't get into the details but it was a stressful day at work and I was glad to see the back end of it.

What I Wore While Getting Yelled At:

2010-01-13 combo

  • brown slacks (Lane Bryant) *
  • brown cashmere sweater (Old Navy)
  • zebra striped shell (Lane Bryant)
  • cream stone necklace (Lane Bryant?)
  • gold tone chain necklace (Macy's)
  • mother of pearl circle brooch (via Goodwill)
  • goldtone & pearl earrings (gift from grandparents)
  • brown boots (Cloudwalkers via Avenue)

* After posting this, I noticed that I look like I have camel toe in this picture. Yikes! Nothing is worse than camel toe. I can assure you that I did not. It's just the light shining off the seam. Whew!

What I Ate While People Were Laid Off:

2010-01-13 food

  • breakfast: steelcut oatmeal w/ dried blueberries & "cream", apple
  • lunch: buddig sandwich, string cheese, soup, carrots, cuties
  • snack: yogurt, Clif Z, cutie
  • dinner: veggie stir fry, fried brown rice

What I Did While Rand Took Care of the House:

30 minutes on the treadmill

Total for the Day: 29 points, 5 glasses of water, 30 minutes exercise

Yikes to layoffs and getting yelled at! Glad you're ok.

I love, love this outfit. All the different shades and textures look so sophisticated. Also, I may have ti copy your 'do. :)

I'm still laughing at your camel toe comment. I had to call my husband over to read it too!

Yelled at and lay-offs?? Oh no, honey, I'm so sorry. That sounds incredibly stressful (hey, but at least you looked great!).

I've been so stressed at work lately - the special project I've been doing is going really poorly and I'm terrified that's going to reflect on me and that I'll be fired. I talked it over with my boss, who assured me that, no, they won't do that, but you can never tell.

Good job on sticking to the plan and for exercising!

Bleh- sounds like an un-fun day all around! Dinner, however, looks delicious!

Brooke - yeah it was a rough day at work. And copy away on the hair. I certainly copied myself enough that week. My hair stayed like this for 4 days.

Fiona - well I'm glad I made you laugh. :)

Sheila - I'm sorry to hear that your work has been stressful too. Listen to your boss. If he says they know the score, then I'm sure they do and you'll be fine!!

Erin - I should have swapped out photos to one without the dreaded camel toe, but I had already edited this one and I was too lazy to do it again. LOL

Jess - thanks!
