My weekly Survivor date was preempted by basketball. Tina sad. So we watched The Hurt Locker instead. It may have won Best Picture, but neither of us was impressed.
What I Wore Before Watching The Hurt Locker:
- purple tweed skirt (Target)
- purple tank (Lane Bryant)
- peasant blouse (via Goodwill)
- purple sweater (Theory via Marshalls)
- grey suede boots (Lane Bryant)
- purple earrings (??)
- key necklace (via Goodwill)
- grey headband (??)
What Rand Ate While Tina Ordered Pizza:
greek veggie wrap. Aren't you proud of him? He was so much healthier than we were.

I know, I was disappointed in "The Hurt Locker" - I mean, it was a good character study, it looked nice, war is hell, yeah, we get it. But seriously, Best Picture? Really? I much preferred "District 9".
Oh this outfit is too cute! I really like the scarf as a headband on you, and that key necklace is adorable!
Oh I love those little earrings! (I'll take your word for it that they're purple, they look black on my screen.) If you remember where they're from, please report back :o)
@Sheila: "District 9" was my number one movie of 2009, but I would have been really surprised if it had won Best Picture. I was just glad to see it go to someone other than James Cameron.
I thought survivor was not on because of basketball and is a two hour next Wednesday instead of Thursday. So maybe you didn't miss it. Also hurt locker sucked, sorry but it did. Love the boots!
Love that skirt!! Pizza sounds good.
EvaNadine - agreed. Feta is delish!
Sheila - Glad to know I'm not the only one who didn't think The Hurt Locker was the best.
Kelly - thanks! It'a actually a real headband, which is good b/c I can never keep scarves on my head. I don't think the back of my skull is shaped properly for it.
Lola - Yep, the earrings are a dark purple. I've had them for years and years. I think I got them some place like Ross. Sorry.
Anon - yeah, Survivor got pushed b/c of basketball. I know I didn't miss an episode, but it meeant that my "Trashy TV at a Friend's House" didn't actually contain any trashy TV. And that makes me sad, b/c it's hard to watch it at home b/c Rand doesn't really like any TV, let alone bad TV.
Sarah - thanks! And the pizza was very good. We've started eating the new Dominoes thin crust. I've never liked Dominoes, but ever since they changed everything, I LOVE the thin crust.
