Droolin' Fool

I got this dress on my recent shopping trip to the Target clearance racks. OMG, it's fabulous! It's like an old T-shirt that you've had for years - so comfortable - but it holds it shape really well. And for $7 it was a total steal. Plus, it enabled me to finally wear this scarf belt I've had for years. In fact, I styled all the colors based on the scarf.

What I Wore That Felt Like PJs:

2010-06-14 combo

  • green dress (Target)
  • purple tank (Lane Bryant)
  • white cardi (Target)
  • aqua peep toe pumps (via Nordstrom)
  • scarf (no clue)
  • earrings (ErinLoveDesigns)
  • brooch (gift)
What I Ate While Drooling:

2010-06-14 food

  • breakfast: blueberries and granola bar
  • lunch: turkey sandwich (Buddig on Sandwich Thin), carrot, apple, cheese stick
  • snack: banana, peach, SoyJoy
  • dinner: red beans and rice with tukey sausage (Jennie-O), white wine
Today was a rough day. I was in the dentist's chair for several hours after work. Due to all the numbing, I talked like an idiot when I got home (I might have drooled a little too. shhh don't tell anyone) and I certainly couldn't eat very well. As a result, I am way under my points for the day. Darn it. I hate it when I do that, b/c I am always starving the next day.

Total for the Day: 20 points, no exercise

Fab dress!

Aw, you poor thing! I hope that wine helped numb the pain. ;)

Very cute outfit! With the way you layer, you are reminding me not to dismiss out of hand dresses that are too low cut - add a cami and it looks great (and suitable for public, lol)!

You look GREAT! I never would have guessed you'd been drooling all afternoon. I've been curious as to how those sandwich thins are...any good?

Love the dress and how you paired it with the cami and sweater! Love the accessories too. Thumbs up!

Sheila - thanks! I find it to be a great thing when I think I look good AND I'm comfy both. It's clothing perfection.

Shelley - Absolutely. If I dismissed everything that was too low cut, I would have no tops or dresses, b/c I have to put a cami under everything. (Which can really suck since I live in TX where it's like the surface of the sun in the summer.)

Sara - thanks! The sandwich thins are okay "raw" but are really good toasted.

julie - thanks!

Brooke - thanks!

Wow - you made this dress pop! It was cute in your Shopping w/ Tina FB pics, but the layering and the accessories make it look great!
