Road Trip Weekend

Rand and I took a very short trip to Houston. In fact, we spent more time in the car than we did actually doing stuff in Houston. So I wore very comfy dresses for all that car time. While we were there, we toured the Beer Can House and went to see Cirque du Solei perform Allegria. Extra bonus - conveyor belt sushi at a place called Sushi Choo Choo. Why doesn't all food come on a conveyor belt? It was so much fun!

What I Wore While Being In the Car for 8 Hours:

  • purple dress (Ross)
  • lilac tank (Ann Taylor)
  • green dress (Target)
  • black tank (1000 years old, so I have no idea)
  • black sandals (Nine West)
  • black dress (Fashion To Figure)*
  • black heels (Nine West)
  • scarf (H&M, borrowed from Kimberly)
  • black necklace (via Goodwill)
* Fashion to Figure provided this dress for me to review, so expect a post about it soon.

Ya came down and didn't tell anyone? boo hiss!! Hope you had a blast in town. Do tell...how was Allegria? I'm buying tix for the Nov show since it will actually be in Houston and not way the heck out in Cypress - plus, it will be my b-day present.

Love the LBD - super cute!

The dresses are cute and you look great in all of them - I'm partial to the purple (fav. color), but WOW, that black dress is awesome!

Is that purple dress the one you said you would only wear lounging around the house? Glad you decided to let it come out and play! It looks great on you, and you can't beat clothing that's stylish AND comfortable!

Kimberly - Thanks! I really like the dress. It will be even better if I lose about 5 lbs.

EvaNadine - Sushi Choo Choo was awesome! But so easy to overeat.

The Other Tina - Yep - we were in Houston for a day. Sushi Choo Choo was up near Cypress.

Michaniya Cunningham - I don't know if you ended up getting hte dress or not, but I def recommend it.

Courtney - thanks! I love dresses - so comfortable.

LeShaune - Alegria was great! I would say that our supposedly awesome floor seats sucked. We couldn't see anything. So I would take that into consideration.

Shelley - I love purple too! I did a whole 10 days straight wearing all my purple stuff last year.

Michelle Cantrell - The purple dress is the lounge-only dress I was talking about. I wore it b/c we were going to be in the car for 5+ hours and it is COMFY!

Alissa - thanks! You know I life the FTF stuff

Sara - thanks! I like the waist detail too. It helps hide the queso baby,
