Bus Stop Diva

Rand's Daily Outfit Assessment: "You look cute. Really cute." I think he likes the braids.

What I Wore While Bus Passengers Stared:

2009-08-31 combo

  • taupe and lavendar skirt (Kmart)
  • cream shell (Target)
  • belt (Dots)
  • leave earrings (Plato's Closet)
  • tweed mules (Bandalino)

What I Ate That Took Forever to Cook:

2009-08-31 FOOD

  • breakfast: greek yogurt, Peanut Wonder, flax granola, blueberries
  • lunch: turkey buddig sandwich, snow peas, carrot, cantaloupe
  • snack: cheese stick, Cliff Z, apple
  • dinner: ginger tilapia w/ snow peas and new potatoes, 2 glasses wine
  • dessert: 1/2 Dagoba dark chocolate bar, 4 almonds

Exercise:

2 worktime walks - 1 mile. Andy took this picture of me while we went for our morning walk. I've really been enjoying our walks, talks, and the opportunity to take some differnt pictures. We got some stares from the bus passengers, but I love this photo, so I just don't care.

Total for the Day: 28 points, 1 mile walking

Rand was right; you do look very cute in that! I love the simplicity and the summery-feel. You look great in light colors up close to your face too.

Miri - thanks! It's not easy, let me tell you but I'm starting to feel better.

Kristin - thanks!

ShopKim - yeah, maybe they think I'm famous. LOL

Herbee - thanks! I felt really good, and it's nice to see it reflected on the outside too.

ArkieStyleErin - thanks! It's a little different than I would normally do it and I thought it might be a little too casual for work, but then I decided that I didn't care.

eednic - Am I allowed to admit that I still have that CD from the 90s. I love that song. Thanks for the smile.

Thanks, Stace!

Heather - thanks! I didn't mind the bus, but we were standing in front of the federal courthouse and I half wondered if I was going to see someone I knew. That might have been a little embarassing.

Lorena - thanks!

Hillary - thanks! I love to wear my hair in braids even if I am a little old for it. I don't care.

BAM - thanks!!

Erin - I'm really having fun taking pics downtown. They don't always turn out, so I take a dif one when I get home, but it's nice variety.

Jess - I WAS having fun. It was a good day.

Sherry - aw. Thanks! I'm checking your blog out now!

Sher - thanks!

laniza - thanks!

Honeybunches - oooh can I keep you around all the time? You are good for my ego. Thanks!
