T-shirts at Work

No funny statements from Rand today. How about a funny face instead? This is him looking at me out the window in the front door. He makes the best funny faces. It's part of why I love him.

Oh and he picked out my shoes for me this morning. I was trying to decide between two pairs and he helped me out. I must admit that he was right. Sadly however, these shoes are not going to stay in my wardrobe. They fit me like slingbacks and I cannot wear slingbacks. So after one wearing, I am done with them. Should I try to sell them or donate them?

What I Wore With Some Help From Rand:

  • brown skirt (Lane Bryant)
  • yellow graphic T (Lane Bryant)
  • brown leather belt (thrifted, Goodwill)
  • tweed pumps (Nine West via 6 pm)
  • gold tone belt, doubled and worn as necklace (thrifted Goodwill)

What I Ate While My Tummy Rumbled Nonstop:

  • breakfast: Barley Pumpkin Sludge
  • lunch: Buddig beef sandwich, watermelon, celery, grape tomatoes
  • snack: string cheese, banana, Cliff Z bar, cheese taco
  • dinner: Hoisin Glazed Chicken, cabbage slaw, Alexia Roll
  • dessert: Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich

What I Did While The Park Was Full of People:

I walked a mile at work today and then Rand suggested a walk around the park after dinner, adding another 1/2 mile. This is what was going on in the small park next to our house: a boot camp class, kids playing, people jogging, people playing with their dogs, 2 kickball games, pick-up basketball, and...people fencing in period costume. No one was in the pool anymore and no one was in the tennis court, but other than that, the park was full of so much activity. I love it. Esp the fencers.

Total for the Day: 24 points*, 6 glasses water, 1.5 mile walking

*oops. I am supposed to eat a minimum of 28 every day. For some reason I thought I had, but when I looked the next morning I was short 4 points.

i love Z-bars! not so sure about the shoes, though. i say give 'em away. when you say "can't" wear slingbacks... why, out of curiosity? like, physically cannot, or you don't like the way they look? i think they're so much more comfortable than most shoes!

Rand is so cute, I love that expression. There's nothing like a funny face to brighten a day.

And another classy outfit, you always look so nice! (The world should be glad I don't post my outfits on my blog).

I just wanted to let you know that you are looking really good. I can see you efforts paying off :-) Oh and those shoes are too cute. Too bad you have to let them go.

Erin - good call. Hopefully we'll get a good number of people for a sap.

Thrifty - I physically cannot wear slingbacks. They slide off my feet. I've tried different styles, different sizes, pads, etc - every trick I can think of. Nothing works. So I don't buy them anymore. Sadly, these wear like a slingback, so I have to give them up.

Crabby - He's such a fun guy. He always brightens my day. Such a great way to put that.

Hillary - thanks! I'm trying. Well hopefully the shoes will find a good home. There's no point in them sitting in my closet looking pretty and never getting action.

Maria - you know I already thought of you, but trust me - they are too big for your feet.

Love the belt, the shoes, the top, ...would you say I like it all? And tell Rand he looks like the guy in 2001, A Space Odyssey :)
