Video Introduction from the Road

Per byHillary's request, here is my video introduction. It's a horrid camera angle since I was sitting in my car, so you get a great view of my double chin. And I really wish I didn't have car hair and that I had some lipstick on. But I thought it was so funny that Rand called me while I was filming, so I didn't bother to redo it.

How about you? Are you up for posting your own video introduction? I would love to see it!

BTW, I was stuck in that same spot on the highway for an hour and a half before checking the grassy area between the highway and the access road, putting my car in 4 wheel drive, and doing a little bit of off roading. It may sound like overkill to have checked the grass and to use 4 wheel drive, but it's been raining for weeks here in Texas. And after I got on the access road, I saw 3 cars all stuck in the mud from trying to get off the road the same way I did. And I would have felt like a real ass if I had gotten stuck in the mud just from being impatient.

Sucks about the traffic. But I think that was an awesomely productive use of your time. :)

It *is* really interesting to see/hear you, as opposed to the still shots. I am now even more convinced that you are a fun person to go shoe shopping and then drink a beer with. :)

That is so cute, Tina. It's wonderful to actually get to see you speak online - you have such a warm voice. And I think you're lovely and a bit too harsh on yourself!

I *might* be brave enough to give this a try, though I hate the way my voice sounds on tape. We'll see.

Hope that your swap went well in spite of the late change!

I love this. You are a total natural in front of the camera, perhaps videos can be a new regular feature for you :)

Tina, I love hearing your voice and seeing you moving! You're really alive! (hahaha)

I think my camera has a video option - I will have to try it. My voice is awful (very high) and I hate how I film, though...but if you did it...!!!

Kelly - I know! It's so weird to hear people's voices, isn't it?

Brooke - I AM a fun person to drink beer and go shopping with. LOL. So if you are ever in Dallas, let me know. I'll take you to my favorite places for both.

Kari - Oh you MUST do it! I would love to see and hear you. Do it!!!!!

Evanadine - Rand introduced me to banana phone. It's a staple in our house now, although I prefer Peanut Butter Jelly Time. :)

Heather - That's funny that you say that I am natural in front of the camera. I felt like an idiot, and I think I look like an idiot too. My first career was actually on the other side of a film camera and I used to have to get in front to test things out. Everyone always agreed I should never be an actor b/c I am soooo horrible and unnatural. LOL

Sheila - thanks! I did this video with my point and shoot, so I bet you can too. I would love to see you in action, so please please do it!!

I am totally a crazy cat lady! I love the way you talk. You don't have an accent but you have a great manner about it. Thank you for doing this!
