Airport Run

OMG, this outfit was insanely comfortable. Just like on Monday, I felt pretty and comfortable all at the same time. My hair could have been a little more exciting, but some days you really need a messy bun, esp on those days that you get up at 5am to take your step-dad to the airport. Who has time to do their hair that early in the morning? The world is lucky that I bothered to brush it before I put it up in a bun. Hell, the world is lucky that I didn't go in my PJs like I would have if I still lived in Austin.

This skirt reminds me of van Gogh's painting (he's my favorite artist) so I thought it was only right that I add to the celestial theme by wearing this new sun brooch I picked up.

What I Wore That Was Celestial:

2009-01-20 combo

  • jersey skirt (via Kmart)
  • white longsleeve T (a.n.a. via J.C.Penny's)
  • grey jersey open cardi (via Marshalls)
  • black ruffle flats (maurices)
  • sun brooch (via Goodwill)
  • wodden necklace (via Goodwill)
  • gold earrings (hand-me-down from Mom)

No exercise and no pics of food today. I ate a banana for breakfast, a chicken sandwich for lunch, and red beans and rice for dinner.

I love Van Gogh as well - I've see the real "Starry Night"!

I love the gold and grey together. You look lovely.

I love that skirt of yours. It is a very "Starry Starry Night" print, isn't it? Beautiful!

Sheila - I've seen the original too. I once went to DC just to see a special exhibit they had while the van Gogh museum in AMsterdam was under construction. I saw so many of his paintings all at once, that even though he's my favorite artist, I had major overload by the time I was done.

Kari - Thanks!
