Playing Catch-up

I'm still behind, both on my posting and on my reading of other blogs. Wednesday was my last day at my contract gig, so there was some temporary unemployement (I've got a new short term contract gig lined up now) and I've been sick as a dog. So I've been less than motivated to do much. Sorry!

What I Wore While My Job Ended:

2010-03-03 combo

  • wrap dress (Old Navy)
  • grey jersey cardigan (via Marshalls)
  • studded belt (via Goodwill)
  • grey suede boots (Lane Bryant)
  • brooch, earrings, and necklace (via Goodwill)

What I Wore While Thrifting With a Friend:

2010-03-04 combo

I took advantage of my unexpected day off to run over to Arlington to go thrifting with a friend. We had a lot of fun and I came home with some good things. Since I knew I would be trying on clothes, I didn't wear any accessoried since they tend to fall off or snag or just be a general PIA when clothes shopping.
  • jeans (Levi's)
  • shirt (Apt. 9 via Kohls)
  • cardi (Target, new via Goodwill)
  • wedges (Old Navy)
  • porch swing (front porch)

Exercise & Food:

I honestly don't remember what exactly my exercise routine was from last week. Iworked out two or three days on the treadmill. I think one day was 45 minutes and one was 30. I ate pretty healthy for breakfast and lunch everyday, but dinner was hit or miss. I didn't eat very much though, b/c I don't usually feel like eating when I am sick. I lost two pounds at my WW weigh in (much to my surprise).

Your thrifting outfit is adorable. That is a great color on you, but you don't seem to wear it very often.

Dr Da. - thanks! And I agree, I realy need to add more rosy colors to my wardrobe. It's a good color against my face.

Erin - thanks! Sadly the wedges are cheap, and I don't just mean inexpensive. The wedge part compresses a little when I walk. I'm not sure how much longer they will last.

Miss Amy - thanks!

BBM - LOL. Trust me, I understand shoe envy. I get it around the blogosphere too. These are a couple of years old or I would tell you to run out and get a pair.

Brooke - thanks!

Totally Inspired - thanks! If you have a loval Goodwill that regularly has Target overstock, you might be able to find the cardi there. That's where I got mine. Just a week ago.
