My front yard has so many plants in it - too many, in fact. Our landlord is very proud of the professional landscaping that he had done, but I want to rip about 1/2 of it out. It may have looked good when it was put in, but, come on, you had to tame it back every season or it takes over - which this has. You can't even see our house. LOL. But everything is in bloom right now, and the flowers are lovely. I picked this little pink rose while I was taking my daily photos. When I was done taking the photos, I stuck it into the brooch I was wearing on my jacket lapel. Since it matched my
shoes, it was actually the perfect little touch. Sadly I didn't get a photo of that before the rose wilted.
What I Wore While Murdering Roses:- pinstripe jeans (Old Navy)
- suede flats (Target)
- blue peasant blouse (Lane Bryant via Thrift Town)
- cream brocade jacket (Old Navy)
- brooch and necklace (via Goodwill)
- gold earrings (hand-me-down from Mom)
- gold headband (Gap)
These are all in my front yard. They are beautiful, but seriously, how many different plants do you need in one small front yard (it's really quite small)?!?!?! And these are just the flowering plants!! There are also 5 different types of trees, and 4 different tpes of bushes. No wonder my nose explodes whenever I walk out the door.

A pretty outfit for flower murdering, although I wish I had too many flowers....
Love this outfit Tina, i think i have some similar stuff in my closet to recreate this look.
Flowers are so in this season, everything is blooming!
Those jeans are so cute!
You look so pretty, Tina! I love the pops of pink.
Love the shoes! And I'm a fan of those pinstriped jeans!
very cute outfit girl! beatyful flowers but boo for pollen!
Love this on you. The shapes, the colors, the cute shoes. All very nice, especially for a flower-murderer.
Lesa - Thanks! I love the flowers too. I just wish my front yard didn't look like Mother Nature barfed all over it.
Branka - awesome! If you do a copycat of this, you have to send me the pic. I would love to see it!
AskewToYou - thanks! Bonus - they are totally soft and comfortable too.
Sheila - thanks! I wish you could have seen it with the flower pinned to my brooch. It really gave this beautiful symmatry to the outfit.
gina - thanks! Sadly with summer almost here I won't be able to wear suede shoes much longer. :(
BBM - totally double boo for pollen. It makes me stuffed up and turns me into a snoring machine.
Kristin - thanks! You know, my high school mascot was a killer daisy, so maybe I just associate flowers with murder. LOL
