We've been having a conversation on Facebook about linen. I'm a fan of it b/c it's a natural fiber, but I hate it b/c you can't keep it free from wrinkles. Check out today's dress, which is a linen blend. It had wrinkled so badly in hte back where I sit that it looked like an accordian. Just what I need - a musical ass! So tell me, do you wear linen?
What I Wore That Needed to Be Unfolded Every Time I Stood Up:
- linen dress (Old Navy)
- belt (borrowed from Kimberly)
- satin flats (Apt 9 via Kohls)
- necklace (Lane Bryant)
- earrings (Avenue)

I have a few linen items in my closet, but I honestly don't wear them very often because I HATE the wrinkles! It's such a nice, cool fabric, but I just can't deal with walking around looking all crumpled.

I never, ever wear linen for that exact reason.
Of course, I also don't own an iron either. lol!
Cute dress, but I try to avoid linen. The wrinkles drive me nuts can't do it! LOL
Hate it. Linen on me. Not your outfit. You look very nice, per usual.
I wear linen quite a bit. I don't mind the wrinkles. I figure everybody that wears linen knows that it wrinkles and so they won't really care that it's wrinkly, it's just part of it. I've also found that ironing linen with no starch or sizing seems to keep it softer and less wrinkly.
I have one linen skirt that I love, so I just try to accept the wrinklage.
Dig that necklace!
I an a wrinkle fanatic, would never, ever wear linen.

See, those wrinkles ae no fun with linen. This is why they should over traveling steamers that can fit in a large purse. LOL! The dress looks so cute on you with the necklace.
I avoid linen, as my mom taught me to. I do have one linen skirt, but a very heavy linen and fully lined and that skirt looks fabulous on me, it's the perfect shape for my figure so I bought it anyway. No regrets, I love that skirt and it doesn't wrinkle all that bad, maybe because it's so thick.
Maybe you'd like that dress better if you wore it mostly (or all) unbuttoned over another dress. I think it would wrinkle less and the wrinkles wouldn't show as much because they'd be more to the side. (Not sure if that made ANY sense!)
I use fabric softner when I wash my linen, and really with everything, I hardly ever have to iron. After a few washes some items don't wrinkle anymore :)
