I am still catching up on posts and ideas floating around in my brain, from my week away from the computer. During my unintentional hiatus, Courtney from Loving the Reflection did a fashion round-up of what various fashion bloggers wore on the 4th of July. I thought this was a super-fun idea. (You know I love a good photo round-up - any excuse to do a post with tons of pictures is good in my book) and was very flattered when she asked to include my outfit for the day. I really enjoy this kind of community activity. Thanks, Courtney! It was fun!
Another thing that happened while I was away from the computer - Lane Bryant posted my interview video from the Lane Bryant Blogger Conference. I was really nervous about how this was going to come out b/c after the interview was done, the interviewer told me that I had talked in this really fake voice the whole time. I do that sometimes when I am trying to choose my words carefully and not talk like an idiot. Oops. But I think the video turned out great! Yay!

I enjoyed the interview! Well-spoken!...I didn't see anything fake about it...voice or otherwise!
What a wonderful blog you have! Thanks for sharing with us.
Blessings!
Yay! Video! You are so stinkin' adorable! :)
I think you sound great! You are very well-spoken. And of course, you look amazing!
I don't think you sound fake! The interview was great, and thanks for mentioning my blog. I'm doing a monochromatic roundup next, so let me know if you've got an outfit photo for me! : )

I think it's hilarious and ridiculous that Heather (the other Heather) actually told you that you spoke in a fake voice. LOL.
Well take that mean interviewer! I think you did a great interview, really well spoken and thought out. Plus you looked incredible - congratulations! By the way, I've been here lurking for so long that I just had to comment - seriously, fantastic job!

I thought the interview was fabulous and the interviewER is all wet! Obviously I don't know you personally but your voice sounded very natural, with no "ahhh's" and "ummmm's". You looked so cute in the outfit too. Your blog is part of my morning routine!
