Yesterday I posted a pic of my "tooling around on my bike" outfit. I love the jeans and fuzzy that I had on so much, that I wanted to share my outfit shopping experience. On Christmas Eve, I got a text from Avenue saying they were having a 50% off sale. Normally I would not go shopping on Xmas Eve unless I had to, but I was already out running errands (dropping stuff off at Goodwill) so I popped in. I was so glad I did. I picked up some great Winter essentials. And using those, I made yesterday's casual outfit. Check it out:
- green fleece jacket (currently on sale for $15)
- blue long sleeve V-neck T (currently on sale for $8)
- trouser jeans * ($35)
* I just noticed that the model wearing these jeans doesn't appear to be even marginally plus size. Not cool, Avenue. Put the plus size clothes on plus size girls so we know what they look like!

I'm always curious when I see other bloggers pimping merchandise, so I'll spell it out for you - No, I am being perked by Avenue. I've always been a fan of their Cloudwalker boots, but just recently have I discovered their clothing. Currently, all my jeans come from there. What I am saying is, this is just me sharing my experience. :) I thought it would be fun for you to see how I shop.

I love Avenue! Alot of woman out there don't, but alot of my wardrobe comes from there. Don't get me wrong not all of their stuff is up to par and flattering for any plus size woman, but if you search right through the store you will find the pieces that are worth having in your closet.
And I agree with you about them not using true plus size models for the advertising.....not cool at all.
Sabrina 0 You have hit the nail on the head. I wouldn't go to Avenue for any "fashion" pieces but they're good for wardrobe basics.
