Percy Jackson & Meatloaf

When I reached into the coat closet this morning, I couldn't find my white coat. I figured that it was in the car, or in another room in the house, and promptly forgot about it. I pulled out this pashmina ------------------> to give me a little extra coverage, but it really wasn't up to the temperatures today.

This afternoon I got an email from my future bro-in-law asking if I was cold yet. I just thought it was an odd email talking about the cold front coming through this week. Nope. He was teasing me for leaving my coat in the hospital. Oops. It's gonna be cold for a few days until I find time to run over and get it.

What I Wore After Losing My Coat:

2010-01-04 combo

  • brown skirt (Lane Bryant)
  • orange T (Daisy Fuentes via Kohls)
  • brown plaid jacket (Old Navy)
  • bronze pin (for a foreign exchange student when I was in highschool)
  • brown suede heels (Newport News)
  • brown earrings (street vendor in Austin)
  • scarf (Goodwill)
  • diamond necklace (inherited)
  • nude patterned tights (Target)
What I Ate My First Day Tracking Points Again:

2010-01-04 food

  • breakfast: cheesy egg, alternative bagel, small gala apple
  • lunch: homemade soup, Buddig bagel, baby carrots, string cheese, pear
  • snack: banana, yogurt, Clif Z bar
  • dinner: longhorn beef meatloaf, ketchup, cauliflower mash
  • dessert: Dreyer's slow Churn vanilla, toasted oats, sugar free blueberry preserves

I tried to make a diet blueberry crumble type thing. It wasn't perfect, but it still tasted pretty good.

What I Did While the Meatloaf Cooked:

2010-01-04 exercise

Meatloaf takes a long time to cook, so I used that time to walk on the treadmill for an hour while I listened to Book Three of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. It feels like it's trying to be Harry Potter but falls quite short. Still enjoyable, though.

Total for the Day: 60 minutes exercise, 30 points, 7 glasses water

Uh oh, hope you get your coat back soon!

I was all worried when I saw you had left your coat at the hospital until I scrolled down to your next post - I hadn't seen it yet. :) Glad that all is okay and congrats to your family and especially your sister-in-law!

I like the retro pattern/color of your scarf with the print of your jacket.

I like the orange and brown color combination of your outfit.

Great work getting the water down, I need to work on getting enough water.

Le sigh, the holidays are over, huh? Time for healthy eating. I'm feeling the pain too!

Glad to see you are getting such great use out of your treadmill and finding new ways to distract yourself during the workout.

Oh girl. I'm back trying as well. Doinf the biggest loser power sculpt. OUCH. Seriously.

Love this outfit on you, it accents your figure to perfection!

Kari - Didn't mean to scare you! I'll probably be cold for a few days b/c I am too lazy to go over and get my coat. How sad is that?

Autumn Rose - Good luck with the water. Have you tried crystal light? I find it helps if I am having trouble drinking enough water.

Kasmira - I think it's probably a good thing that the holidays are over. I was seriously veggie deprived by the end.

Erin - I haven't tried the BL Power Sculpt. The only BL workout I did, came from the library and it was pretty easy if I remember correctly. Although right now, everything is hard b/c I am so out of shape.

You look super hot in this outfit. I'm partial to the color combo, but even without that you look fantastic. I love the scarf and I love how the jacket accentuates your figure and kind of frames things.

Good for you for tracking points again. I have totally fallen off the wagon and I'm too scared to get weighed in!
