I stopped by Goodwill on my way home (like I do on a regular basis) and I took off my jacket/shirt thing so I could try on something. And then I noticed it: pink on the top of my skirt. DAMN IT! I did the whole red sock/white laundry thing where my new (thrifted) red nautical jacket rubbed on my new (and destined to be a favorite) white pencil skirt. I repeat, DAMN IT!
Rand's Random Old Dude at CVS's Daily Outfit Assessment: " I like your shoes." Oh! Well, thank you. (I turn back to the cashier.) "Oh don't pretend to be surprised that you got a compliment. I know a fine woman like you gets compliments all day long, every day." I made sure to text Rand so he knows that he's got competition, b/c this guy's tone of voice made it very clear that he was very interested.
What I Wore While Getting Hit On at CVS:
- white skirt (Avenue)
- red heels (super old)
- black blouse (Target)
- red/white nautical theme jacket (via Thrift Town)
- black belt (?)
- black earrings (?)
- black envelope clutch (via Goodwill)

I hate it when the dye rubs off one item onto another! If your skirt is washable, bleach might help!
Love the yellow brick background.
Great look and this makes me realize that I NEED a white skirt!!
Also, I always let Dave know when I get hit on too - its good to keep them on their toes!
Oh, no, that sucks! Can you bleach your skirt? It looks like cotton.
You do look smokin' in this - great outfit!!
bahaha you definitely deserved the compliment but that's hilarious.
Nice look! I like how it's all matching. :)

Kasmira - thanks! I just pulled it out of the washer and it's drying outside on the clothesline. I looked okay, but we'll see when it's dry.
Kimberly - Somehow I don't think Rand was very threatened. Oh well. LOL
Sheila - thanks! I did a regular wash w/o bleach first just in case, since bleach is so hard on clothes. I've got my fingers crossed.
Kelly - it was pretty funny!
t - It was definitely a matchy matchy day. I'm off to check out your blog!
Ye-ow! You look smokin'. No wonder Random Old Dude was impressed. ;) Red and black and white is so powerful!
Thanks, Brooke! I felt very powerful.
You totally deserve to get hit on in that outfit. You are smokin'!
Kristen - thanks! I've decided that this white skirt is my favorite piece right now. It's going to be on the blog alot, I am sure.
