Get To Work!

I had to work an extra long day so I wanted to be comfortable. I have a couple of go-to dresses for days like that and this is definitely one of them.

  • lunch: bagel sandwich, fruit salad

Love this! I can never wear a belt for longer than 9 hours. I get super fidgety and take it off no matter where I am at the time, so I'm impressed!

I love that dress, and that belt really looks great with it. I always try to wear a belt like that with a dress or something, but I always end up taking it off right before I leave the house. I think I'm just too self contentious.

Very pretty dress! I don't know, I just can't get on the belt bandwagon. It seems to draw attention to areas that you don't want to draw attention to. I'm just not a fan.

I can see why it's a go-to dress. It looks great on you! Love the accessories, too.

Simple and gorgeous! It's so impressive that you're the same polished, put-together lady, even with the new job and the house project. You're my hero. :)

Erin - It really does feel amazing to take a belt off, doesn't it? How long I can wear them is directly proportional to how big the buckle is and how much it pokes me in the pudge. This one is amazingly comfortable to me. You have it too, don't you?

Rhianna - Isn't it amazing how the same thing makes different people feel so different? I find that putting on a belt makes me feel like I put on that finishing touch and it makes you feel self concious. Different strokes for different folks!

Victoria - Not every trend is for every person, but this is definitely one that I like a lot. When I wear this dress without a belt, it turns into a muumuu.

Sara - Thanks, Girl!

Sarah - thanks!

Goose - thanks! This is one of my favorite dresses.

Brooke - thanks! I've had my fair share of mediocre days lately. I haven't photographed all of them, but I am really trying to get back into the swing of taking pics every single day.
